A Year Round Food Storage

HOPE IN ACTION

Throughout the year Hope Chapel, a christian church in Hermosa Beach, has brought in food donations for their multipurpose food storage room. The can foods, dairy products, personal hygiene products, clothes, sleeping bags, and blankets, not only is saved for emergency purposes but it is also in great help for homeless people who are in need to survive the everyday street life.
My lovely aunt, Martha Borja, is the head manager running Hope Chapel's "Hope in action", food storage. Looking after her family, the church members, and homeless people is a tough job. Keeping the food fresh through different seasons and all throughout many years may seem easy, but in fact, it is a difficult job to carry. Expiration dates are necessary to check, as well as having enough products for many people, maintaining the room temperature ideal to all the products, and making sure everything is ready to go incase of an emergency. Martha is able to handle her job very well. Of course with the help of other church members, together they help create a magnificent emergency storage.
